When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Hubertas Dičiunas put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eligijus Narutavičius. Eligijus Narutavičius made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Hubertas Dičiunas sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in FK Druskininkai's zone, Hubertas Dičiunas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eligijus Narutavičius came out of the goal and Hubertas Dičiunas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FK Druskininkai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hubertas Dičiunas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Rolandas Dabkevičius hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Hubertas Dičiunas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute.
