In the 10th match minute, FBK MadeGo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einaras Kaminskas to maneuver through the defense. Regimantas Bagačiūnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vydas Kalinauskas having to interfere. The supporters of FBK MadeGo booed when Balzam Giedymina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nerūnas Buivys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alius Mockus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Regimantas Bagačiūnas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Balzam Giedymina booed when FBK MadeGo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einaras Kaminskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Deividas Staponkus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balzam Giedymina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deividas Staponkus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Eugenijus Gegeckas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deividas Staponkus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laimonas Velička read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Eugenijus Gegeckas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laimonas Velička having to interfere.

Laimonas Velička showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deividas Staponkus in the 53rd minute of the match. Benas Misgirdas kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenijus Gegeckas in the 61st minute of play forced FBK MadeGo's goalkeeper Laimonas Velička to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
