Spectators: 7771 (Terracing: 5829, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Virgilijus Sereika made the kick off which started today's match. If Dainius Mickeliūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Medeyki's goalkeeper Rokas Bačkys, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Faustas Nekrašas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitoldas Dargužas having to interfere. When Medeyki's Evaldas Dalinkevičius in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC ARKOS's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Medeyki's Rokas Bačkys got control of the ball when Dainius Mickeliūnas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, Henrikas Vizbaras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, FC ARKOS's Paulius Latvėnas tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Medeyki getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Faustas Nekrašas hit a great ball. Rokas Bačkys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dainius Mickeliūnas in the 33rd minute. 0-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Faustas Nekrašas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Faustas Nekrašas might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vitoldas Dargužas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustas Nekrašas ran back to his position shaking his head. Rokas Bačkys made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Dainius Mickeliūnas sent off a good shot on target. Dainius Mickeliūnas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rokas Bačkys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Medeyki were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustas Nekrašas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rokas Bačkys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilijus Sereika in the 51st minute of the match. If Virgilijus Sereika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulius Latvėnas, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Evaldas Dalinkevičius came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vitoldas Dargužas could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antanas Gavėnas during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Antanas Gavėnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Artūras Maciulevičius fired a really elegant long shot, but Vitoldas Dargužas threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. The supporters of Medeyki booed when FC ARKOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Titas Narbutas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Medeyki getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Henrikas Vizbaras hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Evaldas Dalinkevičius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Vitoldas Dargužas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Medeyki's Rokas Bačkys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilijus Sereika in the 82nd minute of play. When Dainius Mickeliūnas came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FC ARKOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dainius Mickeliūnas couldn't finish the play. If Dainius Mickeliūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes of play, FC ARKOS's Virgilijus Sereika made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rokas Bačkys was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Medeyki's Faustas Nekrašas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vitoldas Dargužas. Vitoldas Dargužas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3.
