The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jogaila Liubauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-1 became the score in the 8th minute when Giedrius Aponavičius elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Eitautas Prakapas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigijus Garlauskas came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Vabaly's Alfonsas Drevinskas. But to his dismay, Alfonsas Drevinskas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rūtenis Sireikis during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes FC Fun4Free got a freekick which was hit by Rūtenis Sireikis. Raimondas Toleikis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Jogaila Liubauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fun4Free's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jogaila Liubauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giedrius Aponavičius charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giedrius Aponavičius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Giedrius Aponavičius kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Vabaly getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Giedrius Aponavičius hit a great ball. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vabaly's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Egidijus Garbačiauskas was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Fun4Free's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Egidijus Garbačiauskas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Vabaly's Leonas Lozys did a great save. Leonas Lozys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimondas Toleikis in the 45th minute. If Raimondas Toleikis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Airūnas Jatulevičius was the one to do the kick off. Remigijus Garlauskas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonsas Drevinskas went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Vabaly getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Airūnas Jatulevičius hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Aras Gudavičius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fun4Free's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vabaly the free kick. After 59 played minutes FC Fun4Free got a freekick which was hit by Aras Gudavičius. Alfonsas Drevinskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Remigijus Garlauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vabaly's goalkeeper Leonas Lozys, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Egidijus Garbačiauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jogaila Liubauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonas Lozys having to interfere. Airūnas Jatulevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Vabaly's goal looked a bit too open when Jogaila Liubauskas came free, but Leonas Lozys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Airūnas Jatulevičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonas Lozys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jogaila Liubauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, FC Fun4Free's goalkeeper Remigijus Garlauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonsas Drevinskas. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Alfonsas Drevinskas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vabaly's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
