FC Ukmerge's Vitalijus Marazas got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, FC Ukmerge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincentas Šaulys to maneuver through the defense. FC Ukmerge's Ramūnas Dundulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Vasiliauskas in the 37th minute of play. Ramūnas Dundulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vydas Sargūnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the FC Ukmerge defense, Tomas Vasiliauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramūnas Dundulis. The FC Ukmerge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramūnas Dundulis should have stopped the shot. Tomas Vasiliauskas struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ramūnas Dundulis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geguzine.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vitalijus Marazas to make the kick off. Ramūnas Dundulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Vasiliauskas in the 55th minute of the match. If Vitalijus Marazas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitalijus Marazas struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Kipras Inčiūra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ukmerge. After a rather tough play, FC Ukmerge's Vydas Kožukauskas got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Vincentas Šaulys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ukmerge's zone, Justas Valuckis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramūnas Dundulis came out of the goal and Justas Valuckis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute of the match, Tomas Vasiliauskas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ramūnas Dundulis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vitalijus Marazas struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Kipras Inčiūra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ukmerge. In the 86th minute, Geguzine's Stasys Tulčius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Tomas Vasiliauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitalijus Marazas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kipras Inčiūra having to interfere. Vitalijus Marazas scored 1-5 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kipras Inčiūra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
