Jarūnas Juodis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kipras Inčiūra having to interfere. Liudas Daunoras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Mantas Žvirblys made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, FBK Strosiunai's goalkeeper Mantas Žvirblys had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liudas Daunoras. Sikstas Jacevičius struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Kipras Inčiūra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FBK Strosiunai. In the 12th match minute, Geguzine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasys Tulčius to maneuver through the defense. FBK Strosiunai's Žygimantas Pipiras got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Geguzine's Stasys Tulčius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mantas Žvirblys. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liudas Daunoras got free with Mantas Žvirblys in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Danas Jekelevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Geguzine's Benediktas Zinkevičius got a free kick in the 31st minute. FBK Strosiunai's Sikstas Jacevičius got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Jarūnas Juodis notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Geguzine's Kipras Inčiūra. Kipras Inčiūra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sikstas Jacevičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kipras Inčiūra having to interfere. Kipras Inčiūra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarūnas Juodis, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of Geguzine booed when FBK Strosiunai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arūnas Gečiauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. FBK Strosiunai's Mantas Žvirblys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liudas Daunoras in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Stasys Tulčius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mantas Žvirblys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarūnas Juodis charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarūnas Juodis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FBK Strosiunai's Jarūnas Juodis got a free kick in the 46th minute. Geguzine's Vydas Sargūnas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mantas Žvirblys but with some difficulty. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarūnas Juodis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Stasys Tulčius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jarūnas Juodis in the 52nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Kipras Inčiūra kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 60th minute, FBK Strosiunai's Jarūnas Juodis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kipras Inčiūra. Kipras Inčiūra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. 63 minutes into the match, FBK Strosiunai's Sikstas Jacevičius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kipras Inčiūra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Sikstas Jacevičius got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 66th minute Tomas Vasiliauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mantas Žvirblys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Liudas Daunoras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Sikstas Jacevičius made a precise shot to the right of Kipras Inčiūra. Geguzine's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. The supporters of FBK Strosiunai booed when Geguzine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justas Valuckis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FBK Strosiunai's Sikstas Jacevičius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kipras Inčiūra. That made the score 2-6 after 79 minutes of play. Mantas Žvirblys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liudas Daunoras in the 82nd minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Arūnas Gečiauskas put in a rough tackle. 83 minutes into the game, one of FBK Strosiunai:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kipras Inčiūra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarūnas Juodis in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute FBK Strosiunai were awarded a corner. Kastytis Gylys went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FBK Strosiunai's Kastytis Gylys to fire away a dangerous shot which Kipras Inčiūra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. FBK Strosiunai's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
