Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rimvydas Stackevičius started the match with the kick off. If Rimvydas Stackevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Bytlaukis FC's Rimvydas Stackevičius in the 5th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Juozas Urbonavičius was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for FK Verdeny through an amazing save. After some careless play in the FK Verdeny defense, Irtautas Kučinskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juozas Urbonavičius. The FK Verdeny fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juozas Urbonavičius should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, FK Verdeny's goal looked a bit too open when Rimvydas Stackevičius came free, but Juozas Urbonavičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juozas Urbonavičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rimvydas Stackevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juras Mackevičius charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juras Mackevičius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bytlaukis FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Juras Mackevičius hit a great ball. Alfonsas Domža sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Rimvydas Stackevičius elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Rimvydas Stackevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bytlaukis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rimvydas Stackevičius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juozas Urbonavičius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gytis Raugalas during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FK Verdeny booed when Bytlaukis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gytis Raugalas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rimvydas Stackevičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juozas Urbonavičius having to interfere. Dinaras Dabrikas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game was made by Vėjas Kožukauskas with Klemensas Čizauskas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 35 minutes into the match, Bytlaukis FC's Rimvydas Stackevičius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juozas Urbonavičius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Irtautas Kučinskas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juozas Urbonavičius didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 41st minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. If Lauras Dackus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonsas Domža to make the kick off. If Lauras Dackus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Rimvydas Stackevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bytlaukis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rimvydas Stackevičius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A wasted opportunity for Bytlaukis FC. 65 minutes into the match, FK Verdeny's goal looked a bit too open when Gytis Raugalas came free, but Juozas Urbonavičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juozas Urbonavičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rimvydas Stackevičius in the 66th minute of the match. Rimvydas Stackevičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juozas Urbonavičius having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rimvydas Stackevičius in the 70th minute of play forced FK Verdeny's goalkeeper Juozas Urbonavičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Vygandas Borgela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Vygandas Borgela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bytlaukis FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vygandas Borgela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juozas Urbonavičius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rimvydas Stackevičius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Bytlaukis FC's Stasys Andrijaitis got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rdth minute of the game Rimvydas Stackevičius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Verdeny's Juozas Urbonavičius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gytis Raugalas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Juozas Urbonavičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Rimvydas Stackevičius notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FK Verdeny's Juozas Urbonavičius. Juozas Urbonavičius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 97 minutes into the game, Naglis Daugirdas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Verdeny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bytlaukis FC the free kick. In the 97th match minute, FK Verdeny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naglis Daugirdas to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Bytlaukis FC were the better team. Bytlaukis FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
