Seating: 1951, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arvydas Vaineikis made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arvydas Vaineikis in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juozas Urbonavičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 5 played minutes FK Verdeny got a freekick which was hit by Naglis Daugirdas. Arvydas Vaineikis struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Juozas Urbonavičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yatskogoli FC. Margiris Balkaitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arvydas Vaineikis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juozas Urbonavičius having to interfere. Juozas Urbonavičius came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Yatskogoli FC's Margiris Balkaitis. But to his dismay, Margiris Balkaitis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, Alfonsas Domža was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Verdeny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yatskogoli FC the free kick. In the 25th match minute, FK Verdeny was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonsas Domža to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Benediktas Kaušpadas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Verdeny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yatskogoli FC the free kick. In the 28th minute, one of FK Verdeny:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FK Verdeny. Margiris Balkaitis placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Margiris Balkaitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juozas Urbonavičius having to interfere. Yatskogoli FC's Domas Baliutis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vėjas Kožukauskas in the 39 minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, FK Verdeny's goal looked a bit too open when Arvydas Vaineikis came free, but Juozas Urbonavičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Margiris Balkaitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juozas Urbonavičius having to interfere.
The wind increased when Alfonsas Domža made the kick off in the second half. Arvydas Vaineikis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juozas Urbonavičius having to interfere. Juozas Urbonavičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvydas Vaineikis in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FK Verdeny's zone, Arvydas Vaineikis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juozas Urbonavičius came out of the goal and Arvydas Vaineikis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FK Verdeny's Juozas Urbonavičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Margiris Balkaitis in the 57th minute of play. FK Verdeny's Juozas Urbonavičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save FK Verdeny from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the game, Margiris Balkaitis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Juozas Urbonavičius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juozas Urbonavičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvydas Vaineikis in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Beržas Vertelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yatskogoli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Beržas Vertelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juozas Urbonavičius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Valentas Norvilas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arvydas Vaineikis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Juozas Urbonavičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Yatskogoli FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentas Norvilas. Juozas Urbonavičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvydas Vaineikis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Yatskogoli FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ąžuolas Urbonavičius hit a great ball. Yatskogoli FC played a much better game than FK Verdeny and deserved their victory. The FK Verdeny players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
