In the 18th minute, Herkus Bruzas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Einaras Žiemelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naglis Dulevičius in the 19th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonsas Filimonas during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfonsas Filimonas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. If Dinaras Bublys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Regimantas Marčiauskas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Vyspiniu FC's Vaidas Mankus got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristupas Sartauskas in the 32nd minute of play forced Vyspiniu FC's goalkeeper Algimantas Damkus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vyspiniu FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Žygimantas Kučinskas hit a great ball. Naglis Dulevičius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Vyspiniu FC's Regimantas Marčiauskas got a free kick in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vyspiniu FC's zone, Herkus Bruzas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Algimantas Damkus came out of the goal and Herkus Bruzas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Skomaiciai FC booed when Vyspiniu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Žygimantas Kučinskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Germanas Gelžinis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Algimantas Damkus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Naglis Dulevičius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Naglis Dulevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th match minute, Skomaiciai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nojus Stankevičius to maneuver through the defense. Vaidas Mankus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Skomaiciai FC's attentive Petras Dumskis managed to snatch the ball when Hubertas Kaveckas made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Kristupas Sartauskas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Algimantas Damkus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Skomaiciai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kastytis Maciulevičius came free, but Einaras Žiemelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vyspiniu FC booed when Skomaiciai FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonsas Filimonas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Girkantas Aleksandravičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algimantas Damkus having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Naglis Dulevičius reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Einaras Žiemelis. The goal made the score 0-1. 79 minutes into the game, Alfonsas Filimonas threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vyspiniu FC's Vaidas Mankus quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Algimantas Damkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristupas Sartauskas in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Skomaiciai FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Petras Dumskis hit a great ball. Vyspiniu FC's Dinaras Bublys got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristupas Sartauskas took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Algimantas Damkus. Algimantas Damkus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Žydrūnas Gasparas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
