The Palankiai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vidmantas Azukas should have stopped the shot. Jurgis Misius came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Palankiai's Henrikas Visokavicius. But to his dismay, Henrikas Visokavicius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Ignas Genčiauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidmantas Azukas having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, FC Leitgiriai's Danas Alminas made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vidmantas Azukas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ignas Genčiauskas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vidmantas Azukas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. When FC Leitgiriai's Adas Labanauskas in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vidmantas Azukas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignas Genčiauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ričardas Gražys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidmantas Azukas having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Ignas Genčiauskas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vidmantas Azukas. Palankiai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignas Genčiauskas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-9. When Ignas Genčiauskas came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Leitgiriai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignas Genčiauskas couldn't finish the play. If Ignas Genčiauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vidmantas Azukas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Danas Alminas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-10 in the 74 minute of play. In the 81st minute, Ignas Genčiauskas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vidmantas Azukas, passed just outside the right post. Vitalijus Cimermonas 's late challenge caught a FC Leitgiriai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Daumantas Juska fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palankiai's protests and gave Daumantas Juska a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, one of Palankiai:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palankiai. Vidmantas Azukas had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Laurynas Gavėnas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Laurynas Gavėnas took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vidmantas Azukas. Vidmantas Azukas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-13. Vidmantas Azukas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignas Genčiauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded FC Leitgiriai left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Palankiai.
