Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vygandas Daugirdas started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Deividas Krivickas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinaras Burkys struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Simonas Sutkus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Šiauliai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Palšis in the 10th minute of play forced Forest Power's goalkeeper Simonas Sutkus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benas Puščius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Forest Power's Simonas Sutkus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarūnas Abakas in the 17th minute of play. Rokas Bakšys came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Forest Power's Benas Puščius. But to his dismay, Benas Puščius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Dinaras Burkys left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Šiauliai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A collision led to Forest Power getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Vygandas Daugirdas hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the game, Zigmantas Diržys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forest Power's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Šiauliai the free kick. After some careless play in the FK Šiauliai defense, Vygandas Daugirdas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rokas Bakšys. The FK Šiauliai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rokas Bakšys should have stopped the shot.

After 57 played minutes Forest Power got a freekick which was hit by Gvidas Mišeikis. 61 minutes into the game, Forest Power's Vygandas Daugirdas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rokas Bakšys made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Simonas Sutkus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinaras Burkys in the 79th minute. Simonas Sutkus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinaras Burkys, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Forest Power's Vygandas Daugirdas got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Forest Power's Simonas Sutkus got control of the ball when Dinaras Burkys tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 played minutes Forest Power got a freekick which was hit by Irmantas Zaleckas. Many of FK Šiauliai's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FK Šiauliai may have spent more time on the ball, but Forest Power were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
