Spectators: 6932 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1932, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 15th minute, Orestas Marcinkus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes FBK Zelsva got a freekick which was hit by Darijus Samuolis. Ovidijus Damušis's late challenge caught a FK Šiauliai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidijus Damušis helped the player get up and apologised. Simonas Kukštas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinaras Burkys's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Dinaras Burkys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simonas Kukštas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FK Šiauliai's Vaidas Kuodys got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Sigitas Rasiulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes FK Šiauliai got a freekick which was hit by Vaidas Kuodys. In the 45th minute, Dinaras Burkys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simonas Kukštas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarūnas Abakas in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Dinaras Burkys made the kick off in the second half. FK Šiauliai's Jarūnas Abakas got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Dinaras Burkys managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Šiauliai's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinaras Burkys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simonas Kukštas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FBK Zelsva's Nerijus Armalas got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jonas Palšis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simonas Kukštas having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Jarūnas Abakas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simonas Kukštas, 0-2. Simonas Kukštas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarūnas Abakas in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FBK Zelsva's Sigitas Rasiulis got a free kick in the 89th minute.
