Spectators: 6938 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Justas Banys kicked off to start the match. Liutauras Zaleckis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hubertas Bakaitis in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the game, Vitoldas Tindžiulis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aldas Jonaitis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aldas Jonaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laimutis Želvys in the 11th minute of play. Laimutis Želvys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes FC Egydasas got a freekick which was hit by Rolandas Gylys. In the 18th minute, Rolandas Gylys left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Egydasas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Aldas Jonaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolandas Gylys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldas Jonaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitoldas Tindžiulis in the 26th minute of the match. Laimutis Želvys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldas Jonaitis having to interfere. FC Egydasas's Liutauras Zaleckis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naglis Litvinas in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Egydasas's Vėjas Lukšas got a free kick in the 39th minute. Leypalingis's Aldas Jonaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laimutis Želvys in the 41st minute of play. Aldas Jonaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laimutis Želvys, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Laimutis Želvys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Aldas Jonaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laimutis Želvys to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Leypalingis's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Laimutis Želvys fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 60th minute, Justas Banys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Leypalingis's goalkeeper Aldas Jonaitis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laimutis Želvys. In the 65th minute, Dalius Šinkūnas made a precise shot to the right of Liutauras Zaleckis. FC Egydasas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Leypalingis getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Deimantas Remeika hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Leypalingis's goalkeeper Aldas Jonaitis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitoldas Tindžiulis. Laimutis Želvys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adolfas Riškus fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leypalingis's protests and gave Adolfas Riškus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Adolfas Riškus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Egydasas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
