With a little luck, FK Raudonieji Velniai's Šarūnas Danaitis got control of the ball when Dobilas Jaunius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dobilas Jaunius scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Šarūnas Danaitis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dobilas Jaunius succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. 78 minutes into the game, Eugenijus Dališanskis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Simonas Kukštas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigitas Rasiulis in the 87th minute of play forced FK Raudonieji Velniai's goalkeeper Šarūnas Danaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renatas Sutkus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simonas Kukštas having to make a save. 93 minutes into the match, FK Raudonieji Velniai's goal looked a bit too open when Dobilas Jaunius came free, but Šarūnas Danaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FK Raudonieji Velniai's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
