Spectators: 7525 (Terracing: 6325, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Walter Sanvig kicked off to start the match. In the 2ndth minute of the game Remigijus Palšis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Palanga's Aloyzas Alukas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 4 minutes into the match, FK Palanga's goal looked a bit too open when Stasys Bielskis came free, but Aloyzas Alukas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaivoriai's Stasys Bielskis got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jokūbas Butnorius took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aloyzas Alukas. Aloyzas Alukas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aloyzas Alukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigijus Palšis, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Aloyzas Alukas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vygandas Čižas's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Vaivoriai's Jokūbas Butnorius got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aivaras Barkus kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigijus Palšis in the 34th minute of play forced FK Palanga's goalkeeper Aloyzas Alukas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Stasys Bielskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloyzas Alukas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stasys Bielskis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, FK Palanga's goal looked a bit too open when Stasys Bielskis came free, but Aloyzas Alukas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isak Ielo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ovidijus Žiogas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Walter Sanvig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Palanga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Sanvig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stasys Bielskis was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Vaivoriai's Remigijus Palšis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aloyzas Alukas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Stasys Bielskis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Aloyzas Alukas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigijus Palšis got free with Aloyzas Alukas in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 minutes, Walter Sanvig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Palanga and the Vaivoriai players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vaivoriai booed when FK Palanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Sanvig didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 71 in the game by Stasys Bielskis from a close distance when the talented Aloyzas Alukas managed to make a qualified save. FK Palanga's players were relieved. Aloyzas Alukas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigijus Palšis's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Remigijus Palšis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aloyzas Alukas was a little too slow when Remigijus Palšis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-4. A collision led to FK Palanga getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Vytenis Gudavičius hit a great ball. Aloyzas Alukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigijus Palšis, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Jokūbas Andriuška charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jokūbas Andriuška the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Vaivoriai got a freekick which was hit by Jokūbas Andriuška. In the 95th minute, Remigijus Palšis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aloyzas Alukas, passed just outside the right post. Vaivoriai's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
