An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustas Janulaitis in the 5th minute of play forced FC De Burai's goalkeeper Arvydas Silevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gvidonas Armonas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the game, Drąsutis Danaitis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Peckeliai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC De Burai the free kick. Agnius Nainys struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Zenonas Savickas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC De Burai. Arvydas Silevičius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vakaris Bakšys in the 20th minute. Arvydas Silevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustas Janulaitis in the 22nd minute of play. FC De Burai's Arvydas Silevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustas Janulaitis in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Romas Penkauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC De Burai's Agnius Nainys couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FK Peckeliai. Gvidonas Armonas struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Zenonas Savickas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC De Burai. 31 minutes into the game, FC De Burai's Aurelijus Bardauskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zenonas Savickas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Arvydas Silevičius made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Vakaris Bakšys sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, FK Peckeliai's goal looked a bit too open when Agnius Nainys came free, but Zenonas Savickas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Gvidonas Armonas made a precise shot to the right of Zenonas Savickas. FK Peckeliai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 43 minutes into the match, FC De Burai's goalkeeper Arvydas Silevičius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vakaris Bakšys. If Augustas Janulaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vakaris Bakšys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Arvydas Silevičius made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augustas Janulaitis to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, FC De Burai's Gvidonas Armonas made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zenonas Savickas was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Augustas Janulaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes FC De Burai got a freekick which was hit by Rytis Daunoravičius. After a defensive mix-up in FC De Burai's zone, Vakaris Bakšys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvydas Silevičius came out of the goal and Vakaris Bakšys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arvydas Silevičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vakaris Bakšys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vakaris Bakšys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zenonas Savickas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gvidonas Armonas in the 80th minute. Arvydas Silevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustas Janulaitis in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Augustas Janulaitis made a precise shot to the right of Arvydas Silevičius. FC De Burai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The FC De Burai supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC De Burai would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
