An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Vincentas Dačys got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Arvydas Silevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darius Pipiras, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Vincentas Dačys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvydas Silevičius having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Saltiniai got a freekick which was hit by Tadas Žiemelis. If Vladas Tamkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC De Burai's Arvydas Silevičius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC De Burai from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, FC De Burai's goalkeeper Arvydas Silevičius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladas Tamkus. Agnius Nainys charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agnius Nainys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes FC De Burai got a freekick which was hit by Agnius Nainys. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
