FK Peckeliai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustas Janulaitis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tautrimas Sankauskas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC BE1 SC's Tautrimas Sankauskas got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vakaris Bakšys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC BE1 SC's zone, Augustas Janulaitis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaunius Buožius came out of the goal and Augustas Janulaitis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tautrimas Sankauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Tautrimas Sankauskas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Peckeliai's Zenonas Savickas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the FK Peckeliai defense, Feliksas Barzdelis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zenonas Savickas. The FK Peckeliai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zenonas Savickas should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
