Draustukas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Luoba the free kick. A collision led to Draustukas getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Algirdas Vilimavičius hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaidotas Bagavičius in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Almantas Papeckys prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Draustukas's Ovidijus Nenortas got a free kick in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Dangiras Matulis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marius Avelis. Dangiras Matulis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Vaidotas Bagavičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 17 minutes, Ovidijus Nenortas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Draustukas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidijus Nenortas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vaidotas Bagavičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vaidotas Bagavičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almantas Papeckys having to interfere. Audrius Ganusauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almantas Papeckys having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Draustukas's Vaidotas Bagavičius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almantas Papeckys narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Audrius Ganusauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Draustukas's supporters rose to their feet, but Audrius Ganusauskas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Almantas Papeckys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mindaugas Slekys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Marius Avelis made a huge save. After 35 minutes of play Draustukas's Algirdas Vilimavičius was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Draustukas's Algirdas Vilimavičius got a free kick in the 36th minute. After recieving a nice pass, FK Luoba's Romualdas Juozapavicius tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mindaugas Slekys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Marius Avelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Audrius Ganusauskas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Almantas Papeckys was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dangiras Matulis took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marius Avelis. Marius Avelis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Draustukas's Marius Avelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dangiras Matulis in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Audrius Ganusauskas got free with Almantas Papeckys in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marius Avelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mindaugas Slekys in the 71st minute of the match. Audrius Ganusauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Audrius Ganusauskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Almantas Papeckys made a huge save. Audrius Ganusauskas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Almantas Papeckys when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Audrius Ganusauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almantas Papeckys having to interfere. Audrius Ganusauskas struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Almantas Papeckys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Draustukas. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dangiras Matulis during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FK Luoba getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Dangiras Matulis hit a great ball. Draustukas's Audrius Ganusauskas managed to work through FK Luoba's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Audrius Ganusauskas dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Ovidijus Nenortas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FK Luoba's Almantas Papeckys proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save FK Luoba from getting a goal against them. If Audrius Ganusauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Draustukas's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Draustukas may have spent more time on the ball, but FK Luoba were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
