Cool House Owls's Jonas Mikšys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vakaris Bakšys in the 6th minute of play. Zenonas Savickas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rokas Kšanavičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zenonas Savickas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Odol in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Mark Viduka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zenonas Savickas. Mark Viduka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Cool House Owls booed when FK Peckeliai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mantas Maciulevičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, FK Peckeliai's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Viduka came free, but Zenonas Savickas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Peckeliai's goalkeeper Zenonas Savickas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th match minute, FK Peckeliai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristupas Daugirdas to maneuver through the defense. When Mantas Maciulevičius fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Peckeliai's protests and gave Mantas Maciulevičius a yellow card for diving instead. Mark Viduka's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zenonas Savickas firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of FK Peckeliai booed when Cool House Owls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yngve Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Mikšys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arminas Paškūnas in the 42nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Augustas Janulaitis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Peckeliai's supporters rose to their feet, but Augustas Janulaitis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Mikšys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mark Viduka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenonas Savickas having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augustas Janulaitis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cool House Owls booed when FK Peckeliai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldas Vyšniauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute, Vaidotas Bračas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 55 minutes into the game, Mark Viduka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Zenonas Savickas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mark Viduka might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zenonas Savickas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mark Viduka ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Vidmantas Dovydėnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenonas Savickas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Drąsutis Danaitis's late challenge caught a Cool House Owls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Drąsutis Danaitis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FK Peckeliai's Drąsutis Danaitis got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, Rokas Kšanavičius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolandas Špokas's late challenge caught a Cool House Owls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolandas Špokas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FK Peckeliai getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Rolandas Špokas hit a great ball. Rokas Kšanavičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Zenonas Savickas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, FK Peckeliai's Jonas Mikšys threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Drąsutis Danaitis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
