Simas Kuzminskas came out of the goal and Rokas Kšanavičius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albinas Kotas kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Andris Bylaitis fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kyarvyasyay's protests and gave Andris Bylaitis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kyarvyasyay getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. After 13 minutes, Rimvydas Kadaras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kyarvyasyay and the Cool House Owls players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rimvydas Kadaras kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Mark Viduka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cool House Owls's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Viduka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simas Kuzminskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas Mikšys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andris Bylaitis in the 17th minute of play. Rokas Kšanavičius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Mikšys made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Andris Bylaitis sent off a good shot on target. Rimvydas Kadaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Mikšys having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 32nd minute, but Jonas Mikšys got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Cool House Owls hanging dry this time. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andris Bylaitis in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Mikšys saved Cool House Owls from getting behind. Andris Bylaitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mark Viduka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Simas Kuzminskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rokas Kšanavičius in the 41st minute of play forced Kyarvyasyay's goalkeeper Simas Kuzminskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Rokas Kšanavičius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simas Kuzminskas was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Rokas Kšanavičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 53 minutes of play, Kyarvyasyay's Rimvydas Kadaras made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Mikšys was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mark Viduka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rokas Kšanavičius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Simas Kuzminskas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Rokas Kšanavičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64 minutes of play Kyarvyasyay's Andris Bylaitis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Andris Bylaitis kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Rimvydas Kadaras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Kyarvyasyay's Simas Kuzminskas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Kyarvyasyay from getting a goal against them. Mark Viduka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cool House Owls's Rokas Kšanavičius got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Kyarvyasyay's Rimvydas Kadaras got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 82nd minute Rokas Kšanavičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simas Kuzminskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mark Viduka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albinas Kotas's late challenge caught a Cool House Owls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albinas Kotas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Albinas Kotas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rokas Kšanavičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simas Kuzminskas having to interfere. With a little luck, Kyarvyasyay's Simas Kuzminskas got control of the ball when Mark Viduka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yngve Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rokas Kšanavičius struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Simas Kuzminskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cool House Owls. When the referee blew the final whistle, Kyarvyasyay could leave the field as winners, despite Cool House Owls having more of the ball for most of the match.
