After having played for 2 minutes, Vaidotas Bagavičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Draustukas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaidotas Bagavičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovidijus Nenortas kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Draustukas's goalkeeper Marius Avelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vakaris Bakšys. Vaidotas Bagavičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenonas Savickas having to interfere. Vakaris Bakšys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Marius Avelis made a huge save. Marius Avelis was a little too slow when Vakaris Bakšys got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 35th match minute, Draustukas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Algirdas Vilimavičius to maneuver through the defense. FK Peckeliai's Arminas Paškūnas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Draustukas. 43 minutes into the match, Audrius Ganusauskas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zenonas Savickas. FK Peckeliai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Audrius Ganusauskas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vaidotas Bagavičius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Drąsutis Danaitis's late challenge caught a Draustukas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Drąsutis Danaitis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FK Peckeliai's Drąsutis Danaitis got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Leonas Lozoraitis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FK Peckeliai's Zenonas Savickas didn't even have to move. Zenonas Savickas made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Audrius Ganusauskas sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the game, Aldas Vyšniauskas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK Peckeliai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Draustukas the free kick. Aldas Vyšniauskas hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Audrius Ganusauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zenonas Savickas made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Audrius Ganusauskas sent off a good shot on target. Audrius Ganusauskas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Zenonas Savickas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, FK Peckeliai's Zenonas Savickas got control of the ball when Audrius Ganusauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaidotas Bagavičius in the 67th minute of play forced FK Peckeliai's goalkeeper Zenonas Savickas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonas Lozoraitis, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vaidotas Bagavičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenonas Savickas having to interfere. A hard shot 78 in the game by Audrius Ganusauskas from a close distance when the talented Zenonas Savickas managed to make a qualified save. FK Peckeliai's players were relieved. Vaidotas Bagavičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenonas Savickas having to interfere. FK Peckeliai's Zenonas Savickas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save FK Peckeliai from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the FK Peckeliai defense, Audrius Ganusauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zenonas Savickas. The FK Peckeliai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zenonas Savickas should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute Vaidotas Bagavičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenonas Savickas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zenonas Savickas made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Audrius Ganusauskas sent off a good shot on target. Vydas Lipskis hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Draustukas's Marius Avelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arminas Paškūnas in the 96th minute of play.
