Arvydas Silevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gvidas Skroblas, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Laimonas Medžiaušis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almantas Papeckys having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Mindaugas Slekys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arvydas Silevičius came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Luoba's Dangiras Matulis. But to his dismay, Dangiras Matulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, FK Luoba's Vincas Poskus got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Aras Kibildis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC De Burai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 32nd minute, Dovydas Daukantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Luoba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 36th minute, one of FC De Burai:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC De Burai. After 44 minutes, Vincas Poskus made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC De Burai's Arvydas Silevičius tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the FC De Burai defense, Gvidas Skroblas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvydas Silevičius. The FC De Burai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvydas Silevičius should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 2-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dangiras Matulis to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dangiras Matulis in the 56th minute of play forced FC De Burai's goalkeeper Arvydas Silevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agnius Milkus kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, FC De Burai's goalkeeper Arvydas Silevičius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mindaugas Slekys. Vincentas Boguckis charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vincentas Boguckis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vincentas Boguckis kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Arvydas Silevičius was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Romualdas Juozapavicius. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mindaugas Slekys got free with Arvydas Silevičius in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When FK Luoba's Dangiras Matulis in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC De Burai's goalie prevented a goal. FC De Burai's Arvydas Silevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincas Poskus in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, FC De Burai's Aurelijus Bardauskas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aurelijus Bardauskas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC De Burai protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aurelijus Bardauskas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to FC De Burai getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Aurelijus Bardauskas hit a great ball. Romualdas Juozapavicius struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Arvydas Silevičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Luoba. When FK Luoba's Dangiras Matulis in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC De Burai's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, FC De Burai's Sigitas Girkantas got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mindaugas Slekys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes FC De Burai got a freekick which was hit by Aras Kibildis. Arvydas Silevičius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mindaugas Slekys in the 89th minute. After a rather tough play, FK Luoba's Liudvikas Pazeimys got a free kick in the 91st minute. 91 minutes into the match, FK Luoba's goal looked a bit too open when Agnius Nainys came free, but Almantas Papeckys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romualdas Juozapavicius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arvydas Silevičius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. When the match was over FK Luoba could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC De Burai throughout the match.
