Spectators: 7325 (Terracing: 6325, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Beržas Vitkauskas started the match with the kick off. Merūnas Bazaras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agatas Ragėnas's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Danas Beniušis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Apelsin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ruska the free kick. A collision led to FC Apelsin getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Danas Beniušis hit a great ball. Agatas Ragėnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merūnas Bazaras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beržas Vitkauskas in the 12th minute of the match. After 12 minutes of play, Ruska's Beržas Vitkauskas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Merūnas Bazaras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Merūnas Bazaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romas Kazakevičius in the 16th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, FC Apelsin's goal looked a bit too open when Agatas Ragėnas came free, but Merūnas Bazaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, FC Apelsin's goal looked a bit too open when Justas Tautkus came free, but Merūnas Bazaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Danas Beniušis came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FC Apelsin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danas Beniušis couldn't finish the play. 39 minutes into the match, FC Apelsin's goal looked a bit too open when Beržas Vitkauskas came free, but Merūnas Bazaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game Beržas Vitkauskas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Apelsin's Merūnas Bazaras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Merūnas Bazaras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beržas Vitkauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danas Beniušis made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, FC Apelsin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Agatas Ragėnas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 52nd play minutes Beržas Vitkauskas shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Merūnas Bazaras and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agatas Ragėnas got free with Merūnas Bazaras in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ruska's Romas Kazakevičius in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Apelsin's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agatas Ragėnas got free with Merūnas Bazaras in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, FC Apelsin's goalkeeper Merūnas Bazaras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agatas Ragėnas. In the 64th minute, Ruska's Romas Kazakevičius ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Merūnas Bazaras. Merūnas Bazaras yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Justas Tautkus took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Merūnas Bazaras. Merūnas Bazaras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Beržas Vitkauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Beržas Vitkauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merūnas Bazaras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agatas Ragėnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruska's Beržas Vitkauskas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Merūnas Bazaras. That made the score 0-5 after 77 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Agatas Ragėnas could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Merūnas Bazaras however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Ruska booed when FC Apelsin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarūnas Maksimavičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Ruska's Agatas Ragėnas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Merūnas Bazaras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. A hard shot 93 in the game by Agatas Ragėnas from a close distance when the talented Merūnas Bazaras managed to make a qualified save. FC Apelsin's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Beržas Vitkauskas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Merūnas Bazaras was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Ruska's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
