An unexpectedly hard shot by Arūnas Diržys in the 12th minute of play forced FC Borovishki's goalkeeper Tautvydas Jankus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes, Aistis Nausėda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Borovishki and the Plaschken FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Algimantas Saponka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tautvydas Jankus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldas Badauskas in the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arūnas Diržys in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tautvydas Jankus saved FC Borovishki from getting behind. Eigirdas Maksvytis kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arminas Račiūnas to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Evaldas Mikalajūnas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plaschken FC and the FC Borovishki players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evaldas Mikalajūnas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Tautvydas Jankus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arūnas Diržys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Plaschken FC's Jogaila Baguckas got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Evaldas Mikalajūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arūnas Diržys in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tautvydas Jankus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Evaldas Mikalajūnas came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Plaschken FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaldas Mikalajūnas couldn't finish the play. The FC Borovishki fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Plaschken FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
