The supporters of Legionas booed when FK Kiškiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kipras Miškūnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Modestas Bložė fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 5th match minute, Legionas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustão Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. Legionas's Girkantas Bikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darijus Gesaitis in the 6th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Legionas got a freekick which was hit by Algirdas Birbilas. A collision led to FK Kiškiai getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Kipras Miškūnas hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Artūras Antanavičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Girkantas Bikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19thth minute of the game Artūras Antanavičius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legionas's Girkantas Bikas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute Darijus Gesaitis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Girkantas Bikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Modestas Bložė made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Raimundas Kabašinskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rokas Asauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Artūras Antanavičius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Girkantas Bikas having to make a save. Egidijus Vabalas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilius Čiuzas in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Faustão Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egidijus Vabalas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Modestas Bložė left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legionas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Legionas succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FK Kiškiai had controlled the match.
