The audience thought a goal was coming when Stanislav Chermenskiy got free with Radul Ranev in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanislav Chermenskiy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Radul Ranev skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Epifanío Minden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adnan Eroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Ričardas Beniušis notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Dilgiai's Radul Ranev. Radul Ranev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stanislav Chermenskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radul Ranev having to interfere. Radul Ranev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislav Chermenskiy in the 19th minute. Radul Ranev didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. With 23 minutes on the clock, Juozapas Andrikonis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 22nd minute, one of Dilgiai:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dilgiai. In the 24th minute, Ričardas Beniušis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SŪDUVIS FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 26 minutes into the match, SŪDUVIS FK's Stanislav Chermenskiy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radul Ranev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute SŪDUVIS FK were awarded a corner. Ričardas Beniušis went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on SŪDUVIS FK's corner Ričardas Beniušis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Radul Ranev quite easily take care of the ball. Stanislav Chermenskiy's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Radul Ranev firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in SŪDUVIS FK's zone, Urs Stapf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanío Minden came out of the goal and Urs Stapf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanislav Chermenskiy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radul Ranev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Dilgiai got a freekick which was hit by Rytis Ablingis. Stanislav Chermenskiy in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Radul Ranev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanislav Chermenskiy to make the kick off. Michel Rits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radul Ranev having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Gvidas Vasauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Dilgiai got a freekick which was hit by Vygantas Damašas. Radul Ranev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislav Chermenskiy in the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 minutes of play, SŪDUVIS FK's Stanislav Chermenskiy made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radul Ranev was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dilgiai's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ričardas Beniušis was slow to take the kick. During this time SŪDUVIS FK's players had a chance to rest. Stanislav Chermenskiy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Radul Ranev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ričardas Beniušis in the 76th minute of the match. After 77 minutes Dilgiai's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ričardas Beniušis who took care of the corner kick. If Urs Stapf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Epifanío Minden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urs Stapf in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of SŪDUVIS FK booed when Dilgiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rytis Ablingis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SŪDUVIS FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dilgiai had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
