The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Egidijus Plungys notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FK Kochenay's Tauras Macaitis. Tauras Macaitis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vaclovas Paleckas kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Nadruvis got a freekick which was hit by Tautrimas Pakštys. 13 minutes into the match, FK Kochenay's goal looked a bit too open when Daumantas Navikas came free, but Tauras Macaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Vygandas Morkus notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FK Kochenay's Tauras Macaitis. Tauras Macaitis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tautrimas Pakštys in the 19th minute of play forced FK Kochenay's goalkeeper Tauras Macaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 minutes of play, Nadruvis's Daumantas Navikas made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tauras Macaitis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the FK Kochenay defense, Tautrimas Pakštys kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tauras Macaitis. The FK Kochenay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tauras Macaitis should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Vygandas Morkus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tauras Macaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Nadruvis's Vygandas Morkus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tauras Macaitis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Tauras Macaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tautrimas Pakštys in the 33rd minute of play. Tauras Macaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daumantas Navikas in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nadruvis's Daumantas Navikas got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, FK Kochenay's goal looked a bit too open when Vygandas Morkus came free, but Tauras Macaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tauras Macaitis came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Nadruvis's Daumantas Navikas. But to his dismay, Daumantas Navikas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Tauras Macaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daumantas Navikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Daumantas Navikas made a precise shot to the right of Tauras Macaitis. FK Kochenay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vygandas Morkus to make the kick off. Tauras Macaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daumantas Navikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Jurgis Bieliauskas's late challenge caught a Nadruvis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jurgis Bieliauskas helped the player get up and apologised. 55 minutes into the match, Tautrimas Pakštys notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of FK Kochenay's Tauras Macaitis. Tauras Macaitis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 58 minutes into the match, FK Kochenay's goal looked a bit too open when Vygandas Morkus came free, but Tauras Macaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FK Kochenay's Tauras Macaitis got control of the ball when Daumantas Navikas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tauras Macaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vygandas Morkus in the 63rd minute of play. Luo Guo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Tauras Macaitis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nadruvis. With an all-out effort, Nadruvis's Tauras Macaitis threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vygandas Morkus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tauras Macaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vygandas Morkus in the 73rd minute of the match. When Robertas Achilas came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Nadruvis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robertas Achilas couldn't finish the play. Nadruvis made a substitution. Deividas Rimeika replaced Vygandas Morkus. Daumantas Navikas hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Deividas Rimeika took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tauras Macaitis. Tauras Macaitis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. FK Kochenay's Tauras Macaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deividas Rimeika in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Daumantas Navikas could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Tauras Macaitis however easily saved by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romualdas Bička during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FK Kochenay's Romualdas Bička got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FK Kochenay's zone, Daumantas Navikas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tauras Macaitis came out of the goal and Daumantas Navikas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deividas Rimeika in the 87th minute of play forced FK Kochenay's goalkeeper Tauras Macaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daumantas Navikas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Tauras Macaitis made a huge save. With a little luck, FK Kochenay's Tauras Macaitis got control of the ball when Egidijus Plungys tried to sneak it across the goal line.
