FC KOMETA's Ignas Žemaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saúl Gentiletti in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC KOMETA's goalkeeper Ignas Žemaitis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC KOMETA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Saúl Gentiletti scored to the left of an out of position Ignas Žemaitis, making the score, 1-1. FC Žalia Giria's Jack Grealish was substituted for Vytautas Petkus. Vilmantas Matulas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rimvydas Griškevičius went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Jack Grealish in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ignas Žemaitis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 44 minutes into the match, FC KOMETA's Rimvydas Griškevičius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vilmantas Matulas narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Ignas Žemaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saúl Gentiletti, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Saúl Gentiletti might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignas Žemaitis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saúl Gentiletti in the 63rd minute of play forced FC KOMETA's goalkeeper Ignas Žemaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hubertas Kaščiukaitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilmantas Matulas having to interfere. FC Žalia Giria made a substitution. Augustinas Baltramaitis replaced Saúl Gentiletti. 73 minutes into the match, FC KOMETA's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Grealish came free, but Ignas Žemaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignas Žemaitis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack Grealish's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Hubertas Kaščiukaitis came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vilmantas Matulas could save by the left post. Rimvydas Griškevičius scored 1-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vilmantas Matulas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC KOMETA's Žygimantas Laivys was substituted for Deimantas Valys. FC KOMETA's Regimantas Pažarauskas was substituted for Valdas Ginaitis. The supporters of FC KOMETA booed when FC Žalia Giria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hikmet Lebib didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC KOMETA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
