Ernestas Grapskis hit a great ball. Beržas Dirmeikis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Beržas Dirmeikis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabrielius Ambrozaitis having to make a save. In the 7th minute, Iigo Conchas made a precise shot to the right of Gabrielius Ambrozaitis. Champions of Lithuania's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Beržas Dirmeikis put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gabrielius Ambrozaitis. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beržas Dirmeikis in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabrielius Ambrozaitis saved Champions of Lithuania from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarūnas Sidabras in the 44th minute of play forced Champions of Lithuania's goalkeeper Gabrielius Ambrozaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Beržas Dirmeikis took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Gabrielius Ambrozaitis to make any attempt to save it. Gabrielius Ambrozaitis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beržas Dirmeikis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 79 minute of play. Beržas Dirmeikis did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-14 to the left of a surprised Gabrielius Ambrozaitis 82 minutes into the match. Iigo Conchas scored 0-15 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabrielius Ambrozaitis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Beržas Dirmeikis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Druskininkai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-16. 93 minutes into the match, Beržas Dirmeikis notched a goal, 0-17, to the right of Champions of Lithuania's Gabrielius Ambrozaitis. Gabrielius Ambrozaitis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Champions of Lithuania's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Beržas Dirmeikis scored to the left of an out of position Gabrielius Ambrozaitis, making the score, 0-18. The Champions of Lithuania fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Druskininkai were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
