The LFK Spyris fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when LFK Spyris's Aldas Alvinskas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 6 minutes into the match, Dainius Pumputis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Einaras Imbrasas. Pavilkija's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dainius Pumputis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonas Mikuckis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Einaras Imbrasas. That made the score 3-0 in the 10 minute of play. Arūnas Kalasiūnas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pavilkija's goalkeeper Einaras Imbrasas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in LFK Spyris's zone, Merūnas Užkuraitis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantinas Malevičius came out of the goal and Merūnas Užkuraitis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Einaras Imbrasas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dainius Pumputis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Arūnas Kalasiūnas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes of play, LFK Spyris's Aldas Alvinskas made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Einaras Imbrasas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Einaras Imbrasas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldas Alvinskas went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Redas Andriuškevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pavilkija's supporters rose to their feet, but Redas Andriuškevičius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantinas Malevičius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 played minutes Pavilkija got a freekick which was hit by Vygantas Vaičius. Jonas Mikuckis took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Einaras Imbrasas. Einaras Imbrasas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 35th minute, Jonas Mikuckis made a precise shot to the right of Einaras Imbrasas. Pavilkija's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. When LFK Spyris's Aldas Alvinskas in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pavilkija's goalie prevented a goal. When Jonas Mikuckis came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the LFK Spyris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Mikuckis couldn't finish the play. Einaras Imbrasas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Mikuckis went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Redas Andriuškevičius to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, LFK Spyris's Dainius Pumputis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Einaras Imbrasas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After 60 played minutes LFK Spyris got a freekick which was hit by Vilius Alkevičius. 70 minutes into the match, Jonas Mikuckis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Einaras Imbrasas. Pavilkija's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Mikuckis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. Einaras Imbrasas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dainius Pumputis in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Pavilkija getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Redas Andriuškevičius hit a great ball. Einaras Imbrasas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilijus Zabulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Redas Andriuškevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Konstantinas Malevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Einaras Imbrasas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilijus Zabulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Dainius Pumputis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einaras Imbrasas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind LFK Spyris's goalkeeper Konstantinas Malevičius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Pavilkija got a freekick which was hit by Vygantas Vaičius. LFK Spyris's Virgilijus Zabulis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pavilkija. When LFK Spyris's Virgilijus Zabulis in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pavilkija's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that LFK Spyris were the better team. LFK Spyris's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
