Stasys Apinys was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Nojus Bikas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nojus Bikas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some careless play in the Eglynas defense, Nojus Bikas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stasys Apinys. The Eglynas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stasys Apinys should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eglynas's goalkeeper Stasys Apinys, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nojus Bikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Eglynas's Stasys Apinys got control of the ball when Nojus Bikas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute Kings were awarded a corner. Victorino Marko went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Kings's corner Victorino Marko fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stasys Apinys quite easily take care of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Nojus Bikas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stasys Apinys. Nojus Bikas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Nojus Bikas might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stasys Apinys. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nojus Bikas ran back to his position shaking his head. Eglynas's Stasys Apinys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nojus Bikas in the 23rd minute of play. After 27 played minutes Nojus Bikas rounded Eglynas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. 29 minutes into the match, Eglynas's goal looked a bit too open when Nojus Bikas came free, but Stasys Apinys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes Eglynas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victorino Marko who took care of the corner kick. If Nojus Bikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stasys Apinys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nojus Bikas in the 36th minute of play. Beržas Adomaitis hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Eglynas's Doğan Akbudun in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kings's goalie prevented a goal. After 46 played minutes Kings got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Marko. Kings made a substitution. Luís Figo replaced Rocco Ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Eglynas's goalkeeper Stasys Apinys, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Nojus Bikas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stasys Apinys was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Stasys Apinys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nojus Bikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Edmundas Donskis in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kings's Håkon Bjernemose. Nojus Bikas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stasys Apinys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Nojus Bikas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When Luís Figo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Kings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Figo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Figo in the 69th minute of play forced Eglynas's goalkeeper Stasys Apinys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kings's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victorino Marko in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nojus Bikas in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stasys Apinys prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 89 minutes into the match, Nojus Bikas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stasys Apinys. Eglynas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nojus Bikas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. 97 minutes into the match, Kings's goalkeeper Haşim Batüralp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doğan Akbudun. Eglynas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
