The goalkeeper, Kajetan Zagrobelny, was totally fooled by Eglynas's Laimonas Rubys, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kajetan Zagrobelny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sikstas Masiliūnas in the 26th minute of the match. Kajetan Zagrobelny made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Sikstas Masiliūnas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Viktorija's Liudas Alksmantas got a free kick in the 36th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Kajetan Zagrobelny successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 42 minutes into the match, Viktorija's goalkeeper Kajetan Zagrobelny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doğan Akbudun. 44 minutes into the match, Viktorija's goal looked a bit too open when Doğan Akbudun came free, but Kajetan Zagrobelny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Kajetan Zagrobelny managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Eglynas's Doğan Akbudun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.

Stasys Apinys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliodor Tudoran in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doğan Akbudun in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kajetan Zagrobelny saved Viktorija from getting behind. In the 59th minute of the match Eglynas got a corner. Viktorija's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laimonas Rubys ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Laimonas Rubys got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kajetan Zagrobelny quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 59 minutes into the match, Eglynas's Hamid Abbas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kajetan Zagrobelny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kajetan Zagrobelny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sikstas Masiliūnas in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğan Akbudun in the 61st minute of play forced Viktorija's goalkeeper Kajetan Zagrobelny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Viktorija's goal looked a bit too open when Sikstas Masiliūnas came free, but Kajetan Zagrobelny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Viktorija booed when Eglynas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sikstas Masiliūnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eglynas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Viktorija for a fine match.
