The audience thought a goal was coming when Nerijus Užpalis got free with Konstantinas Malevičius in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvydas Voveris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rokas Simutis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldas Alvinskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. LFK Spyris's Aldas Alvinskas managed to work through FBK Radailiai's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Aldas Alvinskas dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dainius Pumputis in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rokas Simutis saved FBK Radailiai from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Aldas Alvinskas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rokas Simutis was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. If Aldas Alvinskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rokas Simutis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldas Alvinskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rokas Simutis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldas Alvinskas went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldas Alvinskas in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rokas Simutis saved FBK Radailiai from getting behind. Arvydas Voveris came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Konstantinas Malevičius could save by the left post. Nerijus Užpalis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Konstantinas Malevičius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, FBK Radailiai's goal looked a bit too open when Dainius Pumputis came free, but Rokas Simutis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rokas Simutis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldas Alvinskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Mikuckis in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rokas Simutis prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The wind increased when Arvydas Voveris made the kick off in the second half. Rokas Simutis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Mikuckis in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Mikuckis in the 60th minute of play forced FBK Radailiai's goalkeeper Rokas Simutis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LFK Spyris's Konstantinas Malevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nerijus Užpalis in the 62nd minute of play. Virgilijus Zabulis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Rokas Simutis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Konstantinas Malevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvydas Voveris in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, LFK Spyris's Vytaras Želvys got a free kick in the 75th minute. FBK Radailiai's Rokas Simutis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dainius Pumputis in the 78th minute of play. Jonas Mikuckis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Rokas Simutis made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, LFK Spyris's Virgilijus Zabulis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rokas Simutis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by FBK Radailiai's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Virgilijus Zabulis was slow to take the kick. During this time LFK Spyris's players had a chance to rest. Vytaras Želvys was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 92ndth minute of the game Dainius Pumputis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FBK Radailiai's Rokas Simutis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to LFK Spyris getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Dainius Pumputis hit a great ball. In the 98th minute of the match, Virgilijus Zabulis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rokas Simutis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The LFK Spyris supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LFK Spyris would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
