In the 2nd match minute, Eglynas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamid Abbas to maneuver through the defense. Stasys Apinys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nerijus Užpalis, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Eglynas's Edmundas Donskis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rokas Simutis but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvydas Voveris in the 5th minute of play forced Eglynas's goalkeeper Stasys Apinys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FBK Radailiai's zone, Doğan Akbudun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rokas Simutis came out of the goal and Doğan Akbudun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arvydas Voveris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stasys Apinys having to make a save. Sikstas Masiliūnas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FBK Radailiai booed when Eglynas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sikstas Masiliūnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Eglynas defense, Nerijus Užpalis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stasys Apinys. The Eglynas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stasys Apinys should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvydas Voveris in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stasys Apinys saved Eglynas from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doğan Akbudun in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rokas Simutis saved FBK Radailiai from getting behind. The supporters of FBK Radailiai booed when Eglynas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğan Akbudun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stasys Apinys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ligitas Motiekaitis in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Eglynas's goal looked a bit too open when Nerijus Užpalis came free, but Stasys Apinys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvydas Voveris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stasys Apinys having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Doğan Akbudun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rokas Simutis was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Eglynas defense, Arvydas Voveris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stasys Apinys. The Eglynas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stasys Apinys should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute Nerijus Užpalis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasys Apinys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nerijus Užpalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arvydas Voveris made the kick off in the second half. The FBK Radailiai fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when FBK Radailiai's Arvydas Voveris looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Deimantas Filimonas's late challenge caught a Eglynas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deimantas Filimonas helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FBK Radailiai! If Doğan Akbudun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 65 minutes into the match, FBK Radailiai's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundas Donskis came free, but Rokas Simutis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doğan Akbudun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Rokas Simutis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nerijus Užpalis took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stasys Apinys. Stasys Apinys dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. With an all-out effort, FBK Radailiai's Stasys Apinys threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nerijus Užpalis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Eglynas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FBK Radailiai:s goal. Nerijus Užpalis placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 85th minute, Nerijus Užpalis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FBK Radailiai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. When Eglynas's Doğan Akbudun in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FBK Radailiai's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doğan Akbudun in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rokas Simutis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 98th minute, Hamid Abbas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ligitas Motiekaitis struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Stasys Apinys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FBK Radailiai. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FBK Radailiai eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
