Vladas Martinaitis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jonas Mikuckis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladas Martinaitis having to make a save. In the 29th minute Vilius Alkevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladas Martinaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of LFK Spyris booed when FK Alytis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Tolvaiša didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Mikuckis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Aldas Alvinskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladas Martinaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Jonas Mikuckis made a precise shot to the right of Vladas Martinaitis. FK Alytis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 42 minutes of play, LFK Spyris's Jonas Mikuckis made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vladas Martinaitis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vladas Martinaitis came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by LFK Spyris's Jonas Mikuckis. But to his dismay, Jonas Mikuckis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

The wind increased when Virgilijus Zabulis made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FK Alytis booed when LFK Spyris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arminas Ambrazas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladas Martinaitis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arminas Ambrazas in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Jonas Mikuckis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vladas Martinaitis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. FK Alytis's Vladas Martinaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Mikuckis in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, LFK Spyris's Virgilijus Zabulis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vladas Martinaitis. Vladas Martinaitis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. LFK Spyris's Konstantinas Malevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rokas Pranys in the 72nd minute of play. Vladas Martinaitis came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by LFK Spyris's Jonas Mikuckis. But to his dismay, Jonas Mikuckis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in LFK Spyris's zone, Rokas Pranys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantinas Malevičius came out of the goal and Rokas Pranys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LFK Spyris's Tadas Vargas was substituted for Vitoldas Misius. Konstantinas Malevičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rokas Pranys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, FK Alytis's goalkeeper Vladas Martinaitis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilijus Zabulis. Vladas Martinaitis came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by LFK Spyris's Virgilijus Zabulis. But to his dismay, Virgilijus Zabulis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 87 minutes into the match, FK Alytis's goalkeeper Vladas Martinaitis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilijus Zabulis. Arminas Ambrazas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladas Martinaitis having to interfere. Vladas Martinaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dainius Pumputis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Jonas Mikuckis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vladas Martinaitis came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonas Mikuckis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 93rd minute. Vladas Martinaitis made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Vilius Alkevičius sent off a good shot on target. The FK Alytis fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LFK Spyris were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
