The audience thought a goal was coming when Vydas Matonis got free with Artūras Čereška in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 14 minutes, Vydas Matonis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kandys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vydas Matonis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kandys's Redas Elijošius got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC LORD-Racing getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Vaidas Dinda hit a great ball. Vlastislav Levý took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artūras Čereška. Artūras Čereška dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 23rd minute, Vlastislav Levý made a precise shot to the right of Artūras Čereška. FC LORD-Racing's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Aloyzas Gimžauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artūras Čereška made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Redas Elijošius in the 28th minute of play. FC LORD-Racing's Artūras Čereška proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save FC LORD-Racing from getting a goal against them. Petras Janauskas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 35th playminute. After some careless play in the FC LORD-Racing defense, Petras Janauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artūras Čereška. The FC LORD-Racing fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artūras Čereška should have stopped the shot. Artūras Čereška was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Jean-Marie Goupy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jean-Marie Goupy really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. In the 45th minute of the match, Redas Elijošius tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Artūras Čereška saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Redas Elijošius did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 7-0 to the left of a surprised Artūras Čereška 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Redas Elijošius kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Thomas Hädicke put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Artūras Čereška. In the 65th minute, Petras Janauskas made a precise shot to the right of Artūras Čereška. FC LORD-Racing's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Redas Elijošius scored 11-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artūras Čereška, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Redas Elijošius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artūras Čereška was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. 75 minutes into the game, Vaidas Dinda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC LORD-Racing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kandys the free kick. Vaidas Dinda kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Artūras Čereška showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlastislav Levý in the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, FC LORD-Racing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aistis Baliukonis to maneuver through the defense. After 78 minutes of play, Kandys's Petras Janauskas made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artūras Čereška was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the match, FC LORD-Racing's goal looked a bit too open when Redas Elijošius came free, but Artūras Čereška reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Kandys's goal looked a bit too open when Aloyzas Gimžauskas came free, but Aurelijus Kšanavičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Redas Elijošius notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of FC LORD-Racing's Artūras Čereška. Artūras Čereška was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vlastislav Levý struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Artūras Čereška didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kandys. Artūras Čereška showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Redas Elijošius, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Redas Elijošius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kandys's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
