Spectators: 9189 (Terracing: 6893, Seating: 2113, VIP seats: 183) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Redas Elijošius kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Petras Janauskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kandys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Kandys's Redas Elijošius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artūras Čereška made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 10 minutes of play, Kandys's Redas Elijošius made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artūras Čereška was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Redas Elijošius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artūras Čereška was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Petras Janauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artūras Čereška having to interfere. In the 15th minute Vydas Matonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artūras Čereška saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artūras Čereška didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petras Janauskas went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the FC LORD-Racing defense, Vydas Matonis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Artūras Čereška. The FC LORD-Racing fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Artūras Čereška should have stopped the shot. Artūras Čereška showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlastislav Levý in the 43rd minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aloyzas Gimžauskas made a kick off. Vydas Matonis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Artūras Čereška made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Redas Elijošius took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Artūras Čereška to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Kandys getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Raimundas Doveikis hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Mindaugas Melekša had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artūras Čereška. FC LORD-Racing's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mindaugas Melekša was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. In the 69th play minute Redas Elijošius came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Artūras Čereška. 0-14. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Mindaugas Melekša managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kandys's supporters rose to their feet, but Mindaugas Melekša was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artūras Čereška breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 74 minutes, Adas Damaševicius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC LORD-Racing and the Kandys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adas Damaševicius kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Artūras Čereška was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Redas Elijošius capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Redas Elijošius really showed his touch with that goal: 0-15. FC LORD-Racing's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vydas Matonis 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-16. The crowd rose to their feet as Redas Elijošius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artūras Čereška. That made the score 0-17 in the 82 minute of play. Artūras Čereška was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Redas Elijošius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-18 in the 88 minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Redas Elijošius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kandys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Redas Elijošius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artūras Čereška came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kandys's Redas Elijošius. But to his dismay, Redas Elijošius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-19. In the 96th minute, Petras Janauskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kandys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-20. Kandys's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
