Albinas Sabulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ąžuolas Mencendorfs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ąžuolas Mencendorfs scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albinas Sabulis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Karl-Michael Bremming managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Alytus United's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Michael Bremming was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albinas Sabulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daavid Šembera in the 17th minute of play forced FK Didvieciai's goalkeeper Albinas Sabulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, FK Didvieciai's goal looked a bit too open when Tauras Wijnaldum came free, but Albinas Sabulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FK Didvieciai's Albinas Sabulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daavid Šembera in the 20th minute of play. FC Alytus United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Deividas Mencendorfs in the 22nd minute. The corner led FC Alytus United's Deividas Mencendorfs to fire away a dangerous shot which Albinas Sabulis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Albinas Sabulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauras Normantas in the 26th minute of the match. Ąžuolas Mencendorfs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Albinas Sabulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FK Didvieciai's Albinas Sabulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daavid Šembera in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, FK Didvieciai's goal looked a bit too open when Daavid Šembera came free, but Albinas Sabulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Motiejus Dalangauskas struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Daugirdas Burokas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Didvieciai. Albinas Sabulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauras Normantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lauras Normantas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albinas Sabulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ąžuolas Mencendorfs in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match, Daavid Šembera got a very nice opportunity to score, but Albinas Sabulis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When FK Didvieciai's Motiejus Dalangauskas in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daavid Šembera got free with Albinas Sabulis in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Alytus United's Daavid Šembera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albinas Sabulis. That made the score 1-3 after 67 minutes of play. In the 75th minute Gytis Remeikis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daugirdas Burokas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albinas Sabulis made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Daavid Šembera sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, FK Didvieciai's goal looked a bit too open when Saulius Inzaghi came free, but Albinas Sabulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Alytus United were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after FK Didvieciai's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Deividas Mencendorfs took the corner. 87 minutes into the game, Daavid Šembera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albinas Sabulis. Daavid Šembera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After 89 played minutes FK Didvieciai got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Benat. Daugirdas Burokas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Motiejus Dalangauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Alytus United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Alytus United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
