The supporters of Kandys booed when FC Klaipeda United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mantas Malinauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48thth minute of the game Redas Elijošius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Klaipeda United's Oxel Crespo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

FC Klaipeda United's Herkus Danilevičius was substituted for Nils Smed.
