Peter Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Casciano in the 22nd minute of play. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilmantas Magdišauskas in the 25th minute of play. Rareș Nicola received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bengt-Arne Askstedt came out and tried to block the shot, but Rareș Nicola slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt got control of the ball when Jindřich Benc tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 62 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Owen Tomaszewski. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Nicola in the 64th minute of the match. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 66th minute of play. Kim Lekberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Schmeichel having to interfere.
