In the 29th minute of the match Wolves got a corner. Absoliut's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dovydas Aleknius ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu got free with Leonas Mažeika in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 minutes Wolves's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jotautas Bulzgis who took care of the corner kick. In the 38th minute Algitas Girkantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonas Mažeika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Wolves's Leonas Mažeika got control of the ball when Virginijus Balčaitis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Virginijus Balčaitis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonas Mažeika was relentless in the 90th minute of the game.
