Damazy Mitus made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Dovydas Aleknius sent off a good shot on target. Leonas Mažeika showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Rivera in the 36th minute of the match. Wolves's Leonas Mažeika played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saulius Mikalajūnas in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Budín in the 43rd minute of play forced Wolves's goalkeeper Leonas Mažeika to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Lithuanian amber booed when Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demba De Reckheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Budín who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Leonas Mažeika when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wolves's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignas Beresnevičius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Lithuanian amber's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
