In the 9th minute Wadi Najid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azmi Fayyad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RiAN FC's Said Husam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save RiAN FC from getting a goal against them. Twyford's Jihad Ramiz got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Wadi Najid made a precise shot to the right of Azmi Fayyad. Twyford's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Azmi Fayyad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wadi Najid in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Rafiq Khashab notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Twyford's Azmi Fayyad. Azmi Fayyad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half RiAN FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jihad Ramiz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Fatih Abdul Karim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes Twyford got a freekick which was hit by Nazim Khadra. Said Husam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qazim Abdul Karim in the 68th minute of the match. RiAN FC's Said Husam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jihad Ramiz in the 71st minute of play. Azmi Fayyad was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Abdallah Osman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abdallah Osman really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After 84 minutes, Jasim Kameel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Twyford and the RiAN FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Twyford got a freekick which was hit by Jasim Kameel. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nazim Khadra during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Twyford getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nazim Khadra hit a great ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Wadi Najid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RiAN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wadi Najid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The RiAN FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
