Spectators: 8230 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 2130, VIP seats: 100) Beirut Maronites AC's Jafar Fudail started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Byblos Phéniciens getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Dawoud Qutaybah hit a great ball. When Amer Ramiz came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Beirut Maronites AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amer Ramiz couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the game, Amer Ramiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beirut Maronites AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Byblos Phéniciens the free kick. A collision led to Beirut Maronites AC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jafar Fudail hit a great ball. Osama Abdul Alim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Salah Tawfiq made a huge save. In the 18th minute Amer Ramiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Haddad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Jafar Fudail made a precise shot to the right of Omar Haddad. Byblos Phéniciens's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Omar Haddad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jafar Fudail, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Beirut Maronites AC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilal Fathi came free, but Salah Tawfiq reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Beirut Maronites AC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jafar Fudail hit a great ball. With a little luck, Beirut Maronites AC's Salah Tawfiq got control of the ball when Osama Abdul Alim tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 minutes, Jafar Fudail made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Byblos Phéniciens's Omar Haddad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Salah Tawfiq took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osama Abdul Alim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beirut Maronites AC's Salah Tawfiq played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilal Fathi in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Byblos Phéniciens's Hilal Fathi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Salah Tawfiq. Salah Tawfiq yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2.

The wind increased when Osama Abdul Alim made the kick off in the second half. Jafar Fudail recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Beirut Maronites AC's Jafar Fudail dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Jafar Fudail could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Omar Haddad made a huge save. Jafar Fudail received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Omar Haddad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Byblos Phéniciens's goalkeeper Omar Haddad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jafar Fudail. Omar Haddad came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Beirut Maronites AC's Jafar Fudail. But to his dismay, Jafar Fudail quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 77 minutes into the game, Osama Abdul Alim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Salah Tawfiq was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Osama Abdul Alim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Salah Tawfiq tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Beirut Maronites AC got a freekick which was hit by Jibril Qudamah. Faisal Akram charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faisal Akram the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Faisal Akram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute Zahid Khashab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salah Tawfiq saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Hilal Fathi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salah Tawfiq was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Salah Tawfiq took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osama Abdul Alim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle went the supporters of Beirut Maronites AC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Byblos Phéniciens side.
