After 3 played minutes Guardians FC got a freekick which was hit by Aatif Taslim. Qazem Ghalib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dani Abbas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fatih Munahid kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Qazem Ghalib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yousef Abdul Karim in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Guardians FC's Adel Shams got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Nassar Idris kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Guardians FC's Qazem Ghalib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaid Umayyah in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Guardians FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sulaiman Basim to maneuver through the defense. Kamel Wahab scored 2-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qazem Ghalib, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tahir Kameel hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Guardians FC's Qazem Ghalib got control of the ball when Kamel Wahab tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bilal Khadra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tahir Kameel, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Qazem Ghalib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaid Umayyah in the 52nd minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Yousef Abdul Karim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guardians FC's Qazem Ghalib was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Qazem Ghalib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamel Wahab in the 64th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Kamel Wahab managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club Sidon's supporters rose to their feet, but Kamel Wahab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Qazem Ghalib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fatih Munahid's late challenge caught a Racing Club Sidon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fatih Munahid helped the player get up and apologised. Fatih Munahid hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Guardians FC booed when Racing Club Sidon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaid Umayyah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wasil Jabbar charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wasil Jabbar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Racing Club Sidon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wasil Jabbar to maneuver through the defense. Qazem Ghalib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasil Jabbar in the 85th minute of play. Qazem Ghalib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamel Wahab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Racing Club Sidon's Nassar Idris got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute Wasil Jabbar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qazem Ghalib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Racing Club Sidon's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
