When Fattah Bakri came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Guardians FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fattah Bakri couldn't finish the play. Adel Shams ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Stokenchurch United's goal looked a bit too open when Fattah Bakri came free, but Ubaid Tawfiq reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tahir Kameel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ubaid Tawfiq made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Alaa Al Tayyib had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Qazem Ghalib. Guardians FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alaa Al Tayyib was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Guardians FC's Qazem Ghalib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alaa Al Tayyib in the 30th minute of play. Guardians FC's Fatih Munahid got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fattah Bakri struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ubaid Tawfiq didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guardians FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Tahir Kameel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guardians FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tahir Kameel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaid Tawfiq breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fattah Bakri in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ubaid Tawfiq, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ubaid Tawfiq made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adel Shams in the 39th minute. Fattah Bakri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Ubaid Tawfiq when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Qazem Ghalib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zayd Imam in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fattah Bakri to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Guardians FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zayd Imam came free, but Qazem Ghalib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 minutes of play, Stokenchurch United's Alaa Al Tayyib made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Qazem Ghalib was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ubaid Tawfiq showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fattah Bakri, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When Zayd Imam fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stokenchurch United's protests and gave Zayd Imam a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Guardians FC booed when Stokenchurch United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zayd Imam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qazem Ghalib was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jasim Yazan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 68 minute of play. Qazem Ghalib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alaa Al Tayyib in the 79th minute of play. If Fattah Bakri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Stokenchurch United's zone, Fattah Bakri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaid Tawfiq came out of the goal and Fattah Bakri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Habib Wahab could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Qazem Ghalib made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fattah Bakri in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaid Tawfiq saved Stokenchurch United from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Guardians FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
