In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hitchin's goalkeeper Talib Ghanim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hitchin's Masoud Abdul Qadir got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 20 in the game by Abdul Jabbar Abdul Qadir from a close distance when the talented Talib Ghanim managed to make a qualified save. Hitchin's players were relieved. Rafe Jabbar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anwar Ghanim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Hitchin's Said Faraj got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes Hitchin got a freekick which was hit by Ubaid Ghanim. Abdul Jabbar Abdul Qadir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Talib Ghanim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Yateley City booed when Hitchin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amir Mumtaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talib Ghanim was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Khaled Sajid. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdul Jabbar Abdul Qadir got free with Talib Ghanim in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abdul Jabbar Abdul Qadir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Talib Ghanim made a huge save. Anwar Ghanim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafe Jabbar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Masoud Abdul Qadir in the 32nd minute of play forced Yateley City's goalkeeper Rafe Jabbar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Qazim Qudamah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tamir Touffah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yateley City's supporters rose to their feet, but Tamir Touffah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Talib Ghanim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yateley City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Masoud Abdul Qadir was slow to take the kick. During this time Hitchin's players had a chance to rest. Hitchin's Ubaid Ghanim was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rafe Jabbar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Qazim Qudamah in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafe Jabbar saved Yateley City from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdul Jabbar Abdul Qadir to strike the kick off in the second half. Abdul Jabbar Abdul Qadir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talib Ghanim having to interfere. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Masoud Abdul Qadir sped through Yateley City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafe Jabbar. The supporters of Hitchin booed when Yateley City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamzi Yushua didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Anwar Ghanim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafe Jabbar was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Talib Ghanim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdul Jabbar Abdul Qadir, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Rafe Jabbar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Masoud Abdul Qadir in the 83rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdul Jabbar Abdul Qadir in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Talib Ghanim saved Hitchin from getting behind. Said Faraj kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Yateley City's Morad Azhar got a free kick in the 88th minute. Hitchin's Talib Ghanim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riad Budail in the 92nd minute of play. Yateley City's Yehia El Askar got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute Riad Budail shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talib Ghanim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
