Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hassan Abou Fakr started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 9 played minutes Rayleigh got a freekick which was hit by Nazmi Labib. When Norbury United's Hassan Abou Fakr in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rayleigh's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qasim Talab in the 20th minute of play forced Norbury United's goalkeeper Habib Al Harith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdul Rahman Abou Fakr kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Rayleigh's Bashar Bakri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nazim Maalem in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Hassan Abou Fakr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bashar Bakri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazim Maalem in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bashar Bakri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Habib Al Harith managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Rayleigh's Ziyad Omar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Azmi Tawfiq hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Zahid Fawaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Qasim Talab to strike the kick off in the second half. If Nour al Din Abou Zaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hassan Abou Fakr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Bashar Bakri made a huge save. With a little luck, Rayleigh's Bashar Bakri got control of the ball when Yousef Benjaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hassan Abou Fakr's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bashar Bakri firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hassan Abou Fakr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Bashar Bakri made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salim Abdul Khaliq during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Salim Abdul Khaliq hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hassan Abou Fakr received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bashar Bakri came out and tried to block the shot, but Hassan Abou Fakr slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 73rd minute. 80 minutes into the match, Norbury United's goal looked a bit too open when Qasim Talab came free, but Habib Al Harith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yousef Benjaro hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazim Maalem in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bashar Bakri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Habib Al Harith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qasim Talab in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Rayleigh booed when Norbury United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zahid Fawaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norbury United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
