With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilyas Fakhro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jibril Alhusain during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tyre Football Club getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jibril Alhusain hit a great ball. Kamel Tawfiq recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Wasil Walif had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilyas Fakhro. Chester-le-Street FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wasil Walif was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The Tyre Football Club fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Tyre Football Club's Wasil Walif looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salim Abdul Baqi in the 40th minute of play forced Tyre Football Club's goalkeeper Yazid Wahab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilyas Fakhro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasil Walif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Chester-le-Street FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tyre Football Club were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wasil Walif made a kick off. Yazid Wahab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamel Tawfiq, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Kamel Tawfiq sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Salim Abdul Baqi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rdth minute of the game Wasil Walif who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chester-le-Street FC's Ilyas Fakhro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ilyas Fakhro stood somewhat misplaced when Wasil Walif came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 66 minute. Ilyas Fakhro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wasil Walif went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Isa Yasem took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yazid Wahab. Tyre Football Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tyre Football Club's Wasil Walif was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ilyas Fakhro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wasil Walif's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Tyre Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Salim Abdul Baqi came free, but Yazid Wahab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yazid Wahab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamel Tawfiq, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Ilyas Fakhro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasil Walif in the 90th minute of play. Kamel Tawfiq received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Yazid Wahab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tyre Football Club players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
